Aside from the difference between various catheters and sutures, MAI has taught me how big of a problem medical waste is. To think that the efforts of our small organization can save thousands of dollars worth of medical supplies shows how there is a solution to this problem if people put in effort to solve it!

What made you join MAI and how long have you been in MAI?

I joined MAI because I really valued its mission and I’ve been a part of it for almost 2 years now :))

What has been your favorite part of MAI?

Meeting new people. MAI is a close knit community where everyone is extremely ambitious but also laid back and chill. I love the energy everyone brings to our meetings and fundraisers.

What has MAI taught you about yourself?

Knowing I am helping people in 3rd world countries by promoting medical sustainability

What is your ultimate career goal or plans?

I’m still relatively undecided but I know that I want a career in STEM that allows me to help people. Whether it is research or practitioning as a doctor, I want my job to have a positive impact on healthcare.

Do you pour cereal before milk or milk before the cereal? Is a hotdog a sandwich?

Cereal before milk (what type of psycho does milk before cereal???) A hot dog is not a sandwich and WATER IS WET

BPlate or Covel? What's the best Study Sandwich order?

Bplate for the win! I love the healthy twist on student favorites! My go to study sandwich order is turkey and cheese!

Cats or dogs? Sunrise or sunset? Dream job?

Dogs, sunset, and Instagram influencer

Favorite TV Show? And a Netflix recommendation if you have one

I’m definitely more of a tik tok gal, but the show I most recently watched was The Good Place.
